At the A.G.M.which is to be held at the Palm Beach Hall on March 23rd at 8.30pm. It has also been advertised in the Islands publications
Owing to prior commitments and an overseas trip Richard is unable to help with the show. It is in capable hands and coming along nicely with Christine at the helm.
Richard will be back to take Acappella on April 19th.at the Presbyterian Church at 7pman
And the main choir will start back early July. The newsletter will keep you abreast of the dates
We badly need rehearsal pianists, Dulcie and Kit have been helping out but it would be nice if we could have a roster to ease the situation. So if you can play the piano or know someone who would be willing to help, please phone Wendy.
Please keep your rehearsal schedules handy and refer to them for the time and venue. It would be rather annoying for you if you went to Palm Beach and found it was at Onetangi. Also they are updated regularly. Thank you for your donations to the TIN. This helps to pay for milk sugar, tea, coffee and bikkies etc. and odds and ends.
Thank goodness we have our own piano back at Palm Beach. It has had a fairly adventurous life, having spent time at the school, Ostend Memorial Hall, Art works and now at Palm Beach Hall. Many many thanks to the men who helped to shift it and to Russel and Wendy for the use of their car and trailer
Acapella sang at Evensong at the Anglican Church recently, it was a hot and sticky evening but the church was full and the whole service was thoughly enjoyed. They have been asked to sing again at some future date.
Bon voyage to all choir members going overseas or on holiday and welcome back to all returning travellers.
Happy birthday to Rosemary Burns who had a birthday in February and to Pat Atkin, Jill Tetley, Barbara Cuff and Christine Hoffman who had their special days in March. A very warm welcome to all new people who have come to choir and I hope you enjoy yourselves with us.
