WAIHEKE CHORAL SOCIETY INC.

Minutes of meeting held Tuesday 17^th Aug. 2010 at Whittakers.

Meeting commenced at 9.00pm

Present. Richard, Andy, Maya, Dee, Janet, Jeanne, Lyn and Marion

Mozart.

An invitation has been received from the Catholic Church to perform the Mozart Masses at special celebrations being held to celebrate the Canonisation of Mary McCillock.

This will include a performance at St Peters Church Waiheke, on Sunday 17^th October and another performance at St Michaels Church, Remuera a week later on Sunday 24^th October.

Richard will invite Robert Wiremu to accompany us on the piano.

It was suggested that the choir hire a bus to travel to Remuera.

Thanks to John Thompson for his part in negotiating this invitation which was accepted with enthusiasm.

Forum.

It was suggested that Grant and Tim share the role of Senex, as both have put in such a lot of work… one to perform the opening and the other to perform the closing performance.

They can arrange this between themselves.
