Minutes of Committee meeting held at  Judy’s. 17, Pacific Parade

Tues. 26^th Jan. 2010.

Meeting opened at 7.10pm.

Present: Philip, Jeanne, Marion, Judy, Janet , Dee,  Maya, Seth and Richard.

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum:

 There was a good turn out for all cast  on Tuesday 19^th Jan at Artworks at 7.00pm, so the show will go on.

Casting meeting on 2^ndFeb . at 7.0pm at Whittakers

.Dee will work with Richard to contact all those interested.

There is a cast of 15-20 needed.

First Rehearsal Thurs 4^th Feb. at 7.00pm at Whittakers 

Suggested that performances be given over just two weeks, with Thursday added to the usual Fri, Sat, and Sun. to bring up the number of performances.

Plan to perform the last two weeks in May. Thurs 20th Fri 21st Sat 22nd Mat & Eve. Sun 23rd Mat.

Thurs 27th Fri 28th Sat 29th Mat & Eve. Sun packout

Choir postponed until Tues 8th February at Whittakers at 7.00pm with a meet and greet followed by singing.

We hope to see the singers who joined us for “Messiah” continue with us as we will be preparing a concert of Mozart to be presented end of April/ beginning of May.

Thurs 7.30-9.00    at Artworks Theatre

and every 2^nd Sunday  12.30 -2.30pm   at Artworks Theatre

King and I Costumes;

Marion to write to Glen Eden Playhouse with an offer to donate these costumes to them.

Singing lessons:

It was felt that Ella’s offer to give singing lessons was not a matter for the choir but it should be referred to the members for them to take up if they wish.

President: Philip gave notice that he will not be available as President at the coming AGM, although he will still expect to be around to support the choir.

AGM Tuesday March 23^rd at Whittakers at 6.30pm followed by normal choir practice.
