Minutes of Committee meeting held at Whittakers.
Tues. 3rd Nov. 2009.
Meeting opened at 6.30pm.
Present: Philip, Jeanne, Marion, Janet, Judy, Mark, Dee and Richard.
Minutes of meeting held on 6th Oct. were taken as read, and accepted.
Matters arising: There were no matters arising.
Correspondence: There was no correspondence.
Finance: Payment to Hal Leonard for rights to “Forum” $3,965.92

Accounts: Gulf News 2 ads. $23.00

Messiah: Suggested change of arrangements.
Grey Lynn performance is not yet definite, and if it happens will be on the Friday at 6.30.
This will allow the final performance to be on Island.
So that we do not clash with Carols by Candlelight, performances on
Sat 12 and Sun 13 will be at 2.00pm at St Peters.
Accompaniment:Richard to confirm that there will be a small musical ensemble
Posters:Sheena Ablett has agreed to do the posters.
We should arrange to pay her.
Richard to contact Sheena, and arrange for the posters to be sent to Mark before 20th Nov. Mark will distribute to Dee.
Adverts:Julie Ann Evans wants to do a write up next week/ Philip
Mark to arrange ½ page advert in Gulf News, first advert Tues 24th November, being two weeks prior to performance. Another to be inserted the following week.
Donations: Request for suitable donations with regard to the size and costs of the work being performed.
Donation box requested, /Marion to provide.
Programme: Dee to work with Richard to register all the names of singers together with an indication of which contributing choir they usually sing with.
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum:
Read through on Sat 7th Nov at Artworks, 1.00 to 4.00pm
Purpose is to see what the characters are about in preparation for auditions on 28th Nov.
Richard to open the theatre.
Dee to arrange access to the kitchen.
Judy happy to support, bring milk and biscuits, and collect tea things from Whittakers.
