Minutes of meeting at Artworks, 29 September 2008

 

The meeting opened at 6.00pm.

Minutes of the previous meeting 3.8.08 were approved.  Jeanne/Richard. Carried.

 

Matters Arising

·         Concert dates have been changed.

·         A Capella Tudor Court concert at 5.00pm Sat. 18 October at Whittaker’s.

·         Messiah now Sat. 6 Dec. 6.30pm and Sun. 7 Dec. 4.00pm at St Peter’s Catholic Church.

·         Andy will follow up re  sale of King and I costumes.

·         Richard, Judy and Philip have met re next year’s program – will report back at next meeting after further discussion.

Advertising

Ann to place ads in Gulf News and Marketplace re A Capella concert and Messiah. Further publicity for Messiah to be discussed at next meeting.

 

Christmas Party

Sunday 7 December 6.00pm (following The Messiah performance) at Onetangi Hall. (Venue to be confirmed by Jeanne) Further details at next meeting.

 

Membership/Subs

Discussion re subs charged to new/existing members. Reiterated existing policy that those joining after six months pay half annual sub. All other members pay full sub whether involved in all concerts/productions or not.
